Brie bit down hard omn the hand clamped over her mouth feeling blood spurting onto her face and she dived out of reach as the grip on her loosened and a mans voice could heard yelling.
"Jesus fucking christ...........Brie you bitch!" the man grumbled a d Brie turned to see him sucking at the bite wound to his hand
"Nik? What the fuck are you playing at?" she demanded hotly pushing trailing hair from her face.
"I just wanted to surprise you!" he muttered through gritted teeth as one hand clutched the other trying to stem the trickle of blood that was still oozing.
""Ohhh, boy you are soft in the fucking head! You dont surprise a gal round here by dragging her unannounced into an alleyway!" Brie was furious but the pain on Niks face softened her fervour slightly and she frowmed glancing at his hand.
"Come here!" she demanded and took a step forward holding out her hand gesturing for him to show her his. Examining it she shook her head
"It could of been worse if i'd caught you right you could have lost a finger!" she had to laugh as niks face visably paled and she shook her head letting go off his hand she reached down tearing a strip off her short she wrapped it quickly round his hand chuckling slightly to herself Nik wasnt the brightest bulb in the box but he had been a good friend to her in the past even if he could be a bit of a knuckle head.
"There that should do it. Nice surprise thank you but Im busy!" she said quickly affecting a hurried air as she knew he would keep her here all day if she allowed him to and if he so chose, she wasnt afraid of Nik but at 6 ft 5 and built like the proverbial brick shit house the sheer size of the man was intimadating even to the hardest of souls. She moved to walk past him but he stuck out a hand and enveloped her arm holding her still.
"Brie wait! I have a message!" Brie sighed inwardly there was only one person this could be off. Tossing her head she eyed him defiantly
"Well hurry up so I can get on my way!" she said Nik laughed and shook his head
"You always were a fucking spitfire brie but this time you pushed it too far! He wants it back! No ifs no buts you have a little time as he is away on business for a while but he wants what you took from him back and I am to find you when he returns! Im sorry Brie I cant help you out of this one as far as everyone is concerned you did the dirty on us all!"Brie opened her mouth to speak but he hushed her with one large finger to her lips
"You have a little time but I would waste it you cant get away from this one!" Brie tried to pull away but nik bent planting a chaste soft kiss on her lips that was almost apologetic she closed her eyes and pulled back almsot falling as he released her arm. Steadying herself she looked up at him a slight panic lighting her eyes
"Nik I.........." he just shook his head
"Im sorry! Just make sure you have what he wants when i come to find you Brie!" he turned and walked from the alleyway his coat strained across his mountainous shoulders as he shoved his hands in his pockets. Brie watched him walk away her eyes saucer like as the full impact of the situation she was in hit her, she gathered her thoughts togetehr and moved quickly from the alleyway her earlier elated mood somewhat subdued as her mind was turned from her plans to Rea to what had become suddenly more pressing matters.
